Try before you Buy
There is no need to buy expensive equipment for Lawn Bowling. If you are new to the sport most clubs in the District will provide bowls for you to use while you decide if the game is for you.. All you really need are some comfortable cloths that allow you to move freely and some shoes that have little tread and small or no heels. As an added incentive, should you decide to join a club, most have special membership fees for new bowlers. Another option is to visit a club during one of the open houses held in May and June.
